28th Pordenone Silent Film Festival

Italy, from 3 to 10 October
The essential Giornate del Cinema Muto are again bringing together cinema enthusiasts, historians and curators in Pordenone and giving them the chance to bring silent film to life during one week.
The festival opens its 28th edition with the screening of The Merry Widow (1925) by Erich Von Stroheim (october 3 at 8:30 p.m). The film will be accompanied by the Mitteleuropa Orchestra conducted by Maud Nelissen.
Maud Nelissen also composed and performed with The Sprockets the music for The Three Must-Get-Theres, by Max Linder, visible on Europa Film Treasures.
